EMDR
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy has been extensively researched and has demonstrated effectiveness for trauma.
Art Therapy
“Art therapy uses art media, the creative process and the resulting artwork as a therapeutic and healing process. Clients of all ages are able to explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem”.
Art Therapy Group for Anxiety
“Our Art Therapy Group creates a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals with similar struggles can come together. Sharing your experiences with others who understand what you're going through can be incredibly empowering and provide a sense of belonging.”
Brainspotting
It is currently believed that Brainspotting utilizes a client’s visual field to help access the part of the brain where trauma is stored. There is increasing evidence that trauma is “stored” in the body and can affect functions of the brain. Brainspotting appears to help access and activate the brain’s innate, intuitive healing power.
Perinatal Mental Health Treatment
“Perinatal Mental Health involves the treatment of the stress, anxiety, adjustment, and mood disorders associated with a birthing person’s journey into parenthood. This includes infertility, miscarriages, and other types of loss.”
Parenting Support Services
“Gain the confidence and skills to address challenging behaviors and make informed decisions for your child's growth and development.”
